Couple of questions about Devilbiss GTI W and SRI

Postby MarcoPau » Wed Apr 27, 2011 1:37 pm

Hello, my paint dealer has two used Devilbiss coming from a closed body shop. One is a small SRi transtech with 1.2 mm nozzle that seems to be a great "combo" gun, good for both base and clear, both for touch up and small panels or parts, which can be very handy.

The other one is an HVLP GTI-W, 1.3 nozzle, which is supposed to be a gun designed for base coats. I was wondering whether it could be good for clear coat as well. I am personally using an Asturo walmec 9011 HVLP with 1.5 mm nozzle for base, clear and single stage, maybe this could be the time for an upgrade Wink

For the touch up it seems there's no "contraindication", i.e. it should suit me pretty much perfectly, about the other one I have the doubt regarding the use with clear and single stage paint.

Thank you for your help!
